Solaris Mobile Ltd., the Dublin based operator of hybrid satellite and terrestrial wireless networks, will showcase at the 2012 GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona from the 27th February – 1st March as part of the Enterprise Ireland stand located in Hall 1, stand no. 1F17.

Solaris Mobile today addresses the recent calls for additional network capacity to be identified for mobile broadband services for the public safety sector by proposing the S-Band spectrum and the provision of an integrated satellite and terrestrial hybrid network as the solution for the delivery of high capacity mobile broadband and two-way communications services across Europe.

Solaris Mobile today delivers a presentation as part of the 2011 Mobile Broadband World Conference in Berlin. The event which brings together the industry’s thought-leaders focuses on driving the Mobile Broadband ecosystem.

Solaris Mobile’s presentation to the conference which is entitled ‘Implementing Dedicated Video and Rich Media Networks to Optimise Network Efficiency and Improve QoS’ will focus on the following key points:

• How streaming video can be optimised to reduce unnecessary strain on the network

• Reducing cost and complexity of network deployment
• The ability to create opportunities for service differentiation
